“I never want the room(s) to be predictable.”
“Tracy helped us update our home by combining new and existing furniture and wall hangings in every room. Additionally, Tracy selected light fixtures for all of the main areas of the house and the hallways. She also decided on paint colors for the kitchen and front door, and chose area rugs, window treatments, and throw pillows for various rooms. My favorite new piece includes a custom made banquette in our eat-in kitchen that Tracy designed. Fun pillows flank the seating area making it an appealing place for our children and their friends to hang out and eat. Hidden storage beneath is great for extra serving pieces. Tracy is a complete pleasure to work with, and she was always mindful of our budget, responsive to calls and texts, and on time for appointments. She instinctively understood my vision and added to it her beautiful taste and design expertise. The end result is even more charming and cozy than I could have imagined.”
“I was drawn to Tracy’s work on Houzz and since then, I have worked with her on various projects in the house. So far, she helped pick out the perfect exterior house color and she captured our style with a suggestion to change the color of our front gate. Such a simple suggestion made all the difference to the look of the house. Additionally, she helped select paint colors for my foyer and wallpaper for my powder bath. I am still in the process of planning a kitchen and master bath renovation with her and feel confident that she can translate our personal style to the space.”
“I have had the great pleasure of working with Tracy Dunn Design on various decorating projects and details in my home, including our dining room, formal living room, master bed/bath room, guest bath, family room, and outdoor patio/pool area.Tracy has the unparalleled ability to hone in on her client’s needs and wants and, utilizing her many resources, put together an amazing finished result. Tracy carefully listened to my thoughts and ideas, and implemented her knowledge, experience, vision, and gifted ability, to turn our home into a beautiful, yet livable and functional, ‘showcase’. With her impeccable design expertise and endless ideas, she was able to turn drab into fab!I love spending time at home, with family and friends, and have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings created by this extremely dynamic and talented designer.I highly recommend Tracy Dunn Design for any project, big or small.”
“Tracy is an excellent interior designer who not only has a great sense of style but is a pleasure to work with. When we moved into our new home she was able to streamline all of our random ideas, hopes and dreams into a meticulously planned and executed design masterpiece. She made the process easy and fun and handled my husband and I and our, often opposing viewpoints, with candor and ease. No matter what her preferred style is she was able to make our style really come to life. Originally I had thought that I had good enough taste to handle the job myself. If I had decided to do that I guarantee we would still be wading through catalogs and magazines and promising to “get to the showroom” next weekend. Instead, we have friends over on the weekends who, without fail, comment on how great our house looks. Thank you Tracy!“
“Tracy recently assisted my husband and I on our Kitchen Renovation Project. The scope of this project expanded as it went along to include renovating an adjacent room into a laundry room, refinishing the hardwood floors on the entire first floor, and acquiring new furniture, etc for the family room. Tracy guided us through the initial decision making and at times confirmed my choices when I was uncertain. Since the demolition and actual construction took place while we were away for the summer, Tracy worked with the contractor on our behalf and visited the house regularly to monitor progress. Since we hadn’t selected quartzite for our countertops prior to leaving, Tracy visited several vendors and sent us photos to enable us to select our slabs. The renovation is now complete and we are thrilled with the results.
